Tomorrow I will be 18 weeks with this little surrogate baby . I can’t believe we are 2 weeks away from the half way mark. Half to getting this little lamb into the arms of his mommy and daddy.

Yes you partner will have to go Thur blood work and a psych evaluation with you. The blood work is to check for drugs and STDs .
Do you mind if I ask the financial aspect, how much you pay, does it cost anything for the surrogate, etc?
It doesn’t cost the surrogate anything. But there are times the surrogate may have to pay out of pocket an wait to be reimbursed.

@sarahbethk, that depends on different things. But normally for a first time surrogate it can rage between 10,000-25,000.
Since when did having government funding mean you can’t be a good surrogate?
It has nothing to do with if you will be a bad surrogate. It has to do with the fact that being paid to be a surrogate will be seen as income and then your family would lose their benefits and they could be hard to get back once the surrogacy is over.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
