Ok so I just read an article about Dreft having bad chemicals in it that can harm the babies. All I ever used was Dreft, but of course now I will need to pick something else. Anyone have any suggestions on what they've used or is using for their babies?

Hey mama. I have only ever used regular detergent with the thought that baby comes in contact with other family member's clothing and blankets. Only if they were to have a reaction would I change to a special detergent bc unless everything is washed in special detergent, it kind of defeats the purpose. Hope this helps. And then of course if they did have I would switch everyone to that detergent.
I agree. I've always used regular detergent. When your too sensitive with what you wash their stuff in and stay inside never going anywhere it can CAUSE sensitivity to stuff so unless needed to I would use it and only change and become more sensitive if they showed reaction.
All free and clear . The pods and liquid are both great . They also make a free and clear stain fighter/ color booster too that I’ve just started using , I like it so far .

Got some Dreft for baby clothes... How long do I have to use newborn detergent, and can I use something else, because Dreft is expensive.. :/
Probably a cray question to ask, but when did y’all start to wash your newborns clothes and putting them away? Like I’ve been getting clothes since I found out what I was having but I haven’t taken off tags yet or washed anything. I’m 30 weeks. It’s crazy because with my other 3 kids I didn’t really wash a lot of their stuff at first (got lazy) ALSO what laundry detergent did you use if you didn’t use Dreft? Because i saw Pyrex for Baby an didn’t know if anyone tried it??
