If I go by my first pregnancy, I’m having this kid in about 7 weeks and I’m nowhere near prepared. 🤦🏽♀️
I feel this so much right now. On may 16th we go in for a growth scan and she may be here by the beginning of June. We so aren't ready. I feel like all of a sudden it's crunch time! We aren't ready hahah
I had to have a growth scan like two weeks ago because they thought I was measuring small but we’re perfectly on track as of right now. My son started falling behind by 34 weeks so we’ll see what happens. I’m hoping you guys can get it all together in time. I just need my house to not be a wreck when I get home especially because I know my mother in law will try to “help” and that gives me so much anxiety. I don’t like people touching my shit.
@mswedes That's great to hear everything was good and baby is on track! We're having ours because little miss is growing very swiftly and large like her daddy. I'm the same way with my house. We're trying to get everything organized and ready so no one feels the need to try and "help". Don't touch my stuff! Especially my MIL. 😬😂
@madhatter, oh man. My kids are teeny tiny. My son was only 5 lbs and he was born a day before 38 weeks. Thankfully he was perfect and has never had any issues. I’m on the smaller side so I was told I can’t deliver anything bigger than 6.5 lbs. hoping this one doesn’t get too big as I’d love to deliver vaginally again but who knows. As long as my kids are healthy, I’m happy. I hope yours doesn’t give you too much trouble. 🤞🏽
Aweeee. Well I hope the baby stays as long as they need. I was expecting baby to come a little earlier from what my doctors have told me.
My pregnancies are only 9 months apart. Im 39 weeks 6 days and i had my daughter 39w5 days. I don't even feel like im going into labor soon :(
My belly has been low this entire pregnancy. Also I have an undersized uterus which led to my son being born around 38 weeks so I’m thinking it’s likely this time too. Especially with how low the baby feels.
That’s 49 days! Or over 1000 hours. Is this more physically or mentally prepared? What do you need? With me for my second, it was more mentally- getting in the mindset. It really helped spending some 1 on 1 time with my first born.
With my first, we were living with my in laws so there was a bunch of stuff we didn’t get furniture wise so while we have a crib, I still need to paint and put in their closet system then organize everything. My husband works non stop and I’m anemic so finding the energy to actually get it all accomplished is a little bit difficult at the moment. I tend to get overwhelmed when I know I still have a lot to do.
@mswedes, is there someone that can come over and help? Friend, family or neighbor? I understand, the end of pregnancy is always the hardest on me too.
@amysbabies, everyone offers but when the time comes, no one has time and is busy. It’s fine. I’m about to paint the closet. I painted the entire room by myself and built the crib. I also moved my son’s solid wood twin bed by myself as well as a book shelf and rocking chair. Thankfully I’m fairly handy and tougher than I look or else I’d be in big trouble.
