We had separate insurance for our son. We got it through our state’s online healthcare exchange. To add him we just needed his social security card to come in the mail first. It took about a month to receive it. But they are typically able to backdate the coverage.

Totally normal! I’m still excited AND nervous about being a mom to this day. So many emotions involved.
