Can someone please tell me why cot bumber sets are no longer safe everyone i know has always had them and had zero issues. Ive tried looking on line and some sites say they are not safe but they dont say why theyre not safe.

They’re a suffocating hazard

Because if baby rolls into them they may suffocate. They aren't at all breathable. Just like duvets and pillows
