If you’re in any local mom buy sale trade Facebook pages, post that you’re looking for a very inexpensive set. A lot of moms give away free or really low cost items to other moms- I both give and receive, it works nicely. Then set aside what you can each month to save for a new set, or a better used set if yours won’t last for the long haul.
Rent a center is notorious for charging way more than regular retail price. I’d buy used. Check offer up, or Facebook marketplace! You might even find some appliance stores that sell used appliances in your area on google!
@raisingradicks15, I know that we have a Spencer’s in our area that has used appliances maybe you can look up Spencer’s and see if they have one where you’re at?
For me I shop at the discount appliance store. Its brand new items that Have slight dings or strach here and there. For a top load washer n dry HE is $1000,+
