My daughter has geographic tongue this looks just like it. ENT said to avoid acidic foods and drinks if it bothers her as they can cause it to be worse, my daughter is 7 and was diagnosed around 3 it’s never bothered her tho.

I also agree with geographic tongue.

You can always bring it up to doctor. Show him the picture but it doesn't hurt or anything, as far as I know.

It’s an inflammatory response. I would take him to the Dr.
