My baby is 6 months. When can I introduce juice & how many ounces thought the day
Didn’t let him even try juice until after 2.5, and then it was only a sip, and only cause I was craving it so I was drinking it in front of him.
I've never given juice. Water and formula/ breast milk and milk after 1 is all they need. Juice can lead to early tooth decay in children and is full of sugar. They honestly don't need it. You can give it as an occasional treat, but I honestly wouldn't bother.
My daughter is 3.5 and I still don't give her juice. Truly is pointless.
i avoid juice. if my son is sick & im worried about him being dehydrated i might add a little to his water as an incentive to drink it, or i might give him some grape juice if he’s constipated but other than that only water & milk.
My sons pediatrician said no juice until after a year. The only time she'd allow it was an ounce of prune juice for constipation relief. And even then that was one ounce of prune juice diluted with three ounces of water.
It’s really not recommended to give juice, I made that mistake with my oldest and that’s all he wants... I regret it. But if you insist on giving him juice I would think you could give it to him now and give him probably 2 oz
I didn’t really do juice until recently. There’s no nutritional point to it and it’s bad for teeth. She only really drinks it at parties or if her grandpa has some in front of her.
