How long did you stay in hospital for after having your baby and everything went well With birth ?…

Depends with my second I had given birth and back home within three hours.

They recommend staying for 6 hours minimum but depends on your recovery and if your doing well with feeding your baby and stuff on your own

I gave birth at 7:19pm. Was out the next day for 5pm. But they were worried about my iron count. They gave me the option of a 2nd night stay but I said no thanks, xx

At my hospital, if you give birth in the birth centre you will leave after a few hours. And if you deliver in the delivery suite then you will leave the next day. But depends on how you and little one are doing x

I gave birth to my 2nd at 1.50am and was out at 2 that afternoon, my first i gave birth at 6.14am and had to stay another night, then she became jaundice so had to stay a week xx

Gave birth at 4.56pm (natural birth) but was kept in overnight due to very low iron and dizzyness then went at about 10am the next day xx

My hospital has a 24hour minimum hold. If you deliver past 9:30, they’ll give you the option of being discharged the next morning

1st child I had to stay in 3 days after due to her temp dropping. 2nd we were in 2 days due to her not feeding properly

I think it does literally depend on your hospital & if any complications with the birth. With my second I could of went after two hours but the paper work took longer than that and to be prescribed medicine too I got there at 7 and was home for 6 in the night xx

6hrs minimum stay here. Once the doctor has done checks we can leave x

I gave birth just after 1am on a Tuesday, ended up in theatre to deliver the placenta (had the spinal block done but avoided actual surgery by the skin of my teeth!), and was discharged at 9pm that day.

I'd been in since 11pm on the Sunday though, that was one loooong labour!

I wasn't allowed to leave until blood tests had been done, as I'm Rh-neg so had to wait for her Rh status to be confirmed and for my own blood to be checked for Rh antibodies (she's also Rh-neg, but we knew that in advance as hubby is as well - and not surprisingly there were no antibodies).

I gave birth at 12:04am and we were leaving the hospital at 5am xx

I gave birth at 9:45pm and they let me out at 2pm next day xx

I was 2 days but that was because I was unwell after birth usually it’s a few hours after the birth xxx
