I would ask...
Sick child policy?
Teacher to child ratio?
What there emergency policy is?
Security as far as the building, can people just come and go or is there a policy for getting in the building?
Can you randomly check on her during the day?
Licencing information
And teacher certifications?

Before I put my son in daycare I asked around and googled really good day cares. I looked into a place I was going to send my son too. I wanted to make sure he was safe and being taken care of.
I would ask for :
1.A tour to see what it's like and how they go about things.
2.Diaper changes and how often
3.Sick day policy or leaving early due to power outages no heat or no water (yes it does happen)
4.snacks and how often
5.teachers and qualifications
6.nap times if any
7. Most important is if they have locked doors and who can and can't get into the building and how they do fire drills and tornado drills.
8. ALSO what if a bad guy gets in what do they do
9. Any paper work and if there's a pick up drop off form of who can get your child.
10. How they handle legal issues if you're having baby dad trouble
11. A form of approval of pictures being sent on social media (some have a Facebook account and post pictures of children with parents approval)
12. Play time (outdoor play or inside play)
And than anything else that comes to mind. Remember to ask anything you can think of even if its a million questions . You want to know your child Is safe and in good hands.
Also remember your child will be sick a lot of the time. I had to remove my son from daycare because he was always sick. The school was amazing and teachers were great but the kids always had snotty noses and coughs. As long as they wasn't running a fever they could go to daycare and it sucks but eventually your child will build an immune system . But it will take a long while. My son went 3 days a week and from 9 to 3 pm. And was still sick. He LOVED it but I just couldn't handle him always being sick .
