I know it's negative. I'm just excited to start this journey. We've been trying since October with a chemical in February. But this is my first time actually taking an OPK. I'm excited. It's only cycle day 8 so I still have a bit of days to go I was just excited to try it. Today is one of those good days. Baby dust for all.

It’s totally negative. Test line has to be same or darker than control line, but since it’s your first time using opks I would recommend you go few cycles starting to test as soon as you get off your period. Even the same day it goes away. (I ovulated on cd8 this cycle and got pregnant).
I also recommend you to buy the easy@home test strips, they are The BEST, and a lot less expensive than the dollar store ones. Also if you aren’t yet, start tracking your basal body temperature, it’s the only way to confirm what day you ovulated. 😊. What you’re doing will save you a lot of time!
