How long did everyone bleed after having their baby?
I had a c section- tomorrow will be 3 weeks and I’m still bleeding. I didn’t bleed this long with either of my other two.

You can bleed up to 6 wks pp. I bleed for a couple of days after both my csections then it stopped. It picked back up at 6wks pp

Yeah mine is light then medium then spotting then medium again but I haven’t stopped yet. With my first two I stopped after about a week and didn’t start again until I started birth control

I was 3 weeks pp on Tuesday and my bleeding is slowing down, but I’m still bleeding enough for a light pad.
With my first (also c-section) I bled for 8+ weeks.

@faithhopelove, when I acted concerned around 6/7 weeks my doctor was just like, “typically some people stop around 6 weeks, but some go longer.”
But, from what I’ve found also doing research is that some people’s wound from where the placenta detached (what causes our bleeding) is the size of a fist, where as some people have a wound the size of a large dinner plate. That will also make a difference on how quickly it heals up.

I’m 3 weeks pp (c-section) and i still have bleeding, i would call it spotting. It would stop for a day or two and then when i think it’s gone and don’t wear any pads it would start again 🤦🏼♀️😩😩😩

Sounds like yours is tapering off though so that’s good!
