When should I seriously worry about spotting? I woke up today and went to pee and after wiping (I check every time) I noticed there was some blood on the tissue. It was bright red so fresh blood for sure. It wasn't a lot but more than a couple drops. It was in streaks on the TP. I haven't had sex, no any kind of sexual nonsense for the past few days at least. I don't have any cramping or pressure or anything like that. I see my doctor at 9:15 today, it's currently almost seven. I'll definitely mention it to him but do you think I need to be seen like immediatly? I'll check again to see if there's any more bleeding in a few minutes when I have to pee again. Baby is moving fine as well.

They won't open until nine, my appointment is at 9:15, is it still worth it to call? I checked again and no more spotting at all.

If your appointment is this morning and its not gotten worse then I'd say its ok to wait if not much longer but if it picks up immediately go no calls just go

Usually bright red spotting is okay. I had that a little bit around 8 weeks and my doctors oncall nurse said that’s implantation bleeding it’s when it’s dark and clotting when you should worry. But either way to ease ur mind I’d call the oncall nurse and they’ll tell you weather you should worry or not!

You can spot all through out pregnancy. Especially in the first trimester. It's the symptoms along with it that determine in an ER visit is necessary. But if you're just spotting, no stomach pain or cramping, id check in with my OB to be on the safe side

My OB said it’s only a concern if you’re spotting AND cramping. Also it’s a concern if you have a negative blood type since you may need the rhogam shot. Definitely let your OB know at your appointment . My OB had me call every time I spotted with my daughter which was a lot.
