My cousin was sexually assaulted as a kid and my aunt never believed her. She resents my aunt until this day and none of us talk to her. That’s soo sad poor baby and the mom doesn’t believe her? I hope that little girl gets some help.

I told my parents (I was 4-5 when it happened) and their way of dealing with the problem was having my dad tell the “kid’s” dad (he was probably 12 or something) and got permission to punch him. No police report. No counseling. Nothing. I would never let my kids go unsupported like my parents did for me. I’m so glad I didn’t see the post you’re referring to. I’d lose my mind.

Someone still needs to call a d report it. Whoever has her username or knows where she is located needs to call and make a report. Regardless if the cops can't do much based on that only info. It's still a decent thing to do.

My mother’s cousins molested me when he was 12 and I was 3. It happened at my great grandpas church. My family never did anything about it. He still went on trips with us and cane over for Christmas. When I was 12 he watched my brother and I while my mom took a shower and then she went clubbing with him. I no longer try to have anything to do with my mom but she’s dragged me to court for grandparent rights of my first two kids. Refuses to take my other kids and somehow the courts are letting her have time. My kids are happy and healthy but she’s going to destroy them.

My step daughter was molested and we believed her from the time she disclosed to us . And she is in counseling . She’s actually almost done with counseling now . She been in counseling for a year now. Her own mother didn’t believe her and we was like nah that ain’t right . So she doesn’t see her own mother due to that and other issues as well . But we are suppose to believe these kids when they disclose to us . Periodt.
