I think I want another baby, the only reason not too is because I haven’t gone back to school and gotten my degree or some type of certificate. I had a scare a few weeks ago due to my iud moving and not being protected while it was misplaced. I told my mother in-law and he response was more like “ thank god” I thought ok? Why else besides the school thing, shouldn’t I?
Idk? I can’t wrap my head around why a second child would be so bad? I don’t think I’m a bad mother, I love my son, and his father and I are happy together, we don’t own our own home yet but we’re in the process.
Idk thoughts anyone...

I think any parent (in-laws & biological) just want what’s best for us. And they know that having babies (esp 2 under 2 or 2 under 3) is a hassle and will halt your life temporarily. I do see where you’re coming from though - it’s not like you’re bringing another child into a toxic situation, it’s just not an “ideal” situation, if that makes sense? But if you and your partner feel you’re emotionally, physically, mentally & financially ready to bring another life into this world, and are willing to wait on the school thing until maybe your babies are in school, then there’s nothing wrong with that. ❤️

If you can afford it I dont see what the big deal is. Yes school is harder and if its something you're dead set on you might want to do that first but if I was totally secure in my relationship and financially stable and we wanted another I'd do it.

Wait until all your ducks are in a row. Going back to school is hard enough with one, with two it becomes compounded. Wait until you own your own home, especially if you're living with family. Above all enjoy the one on one time with the child that you have now while he's still young.
