Any one who had dealt with severe SPD, did it go away immediately after delivery? Did it cause problems during delivery?? I'm scared my pelvis is going to shatter or the baby will get stuck 😭 This is the worst pain and I feel for any one going through it!!

I'm so glad you asked this. I have it as well and I've been wondering the same. I feel so crippled. I just want to be able to walk again. I had to use a scooter at the store the other day and I was so embarrassed. Ugh.

You poor thing!! I don’t think I knew you were pregnant so congratulations 🎉 I’ll be praying for a safe and healthy delivery! Outside of that I had to google SPD bc I was not aware of it.
But seriously has any one ever died from this 👀

@madhatter Oh man, i just refuse to do shopping right now 😂 getting in and out of the car is hard enough. This is so bizarre 😂 when I do have to walk, it takes a few steps before I don't look like an old lady, like it has to warm up or something??!
@squishysquashy I wish I could opt out. I'll have no food hahah my husband has no clue what to feed us and I can't even begin to make a list. I'm so beyond picky right now. Everything makes me sick so it's a process to go shopping. It sounds like it takes your body a minute to register the pain 😂 I get that sometimes. Other times it's just like eh better just sit back down.
What is SPD
@squishysquashy, oh gosh. I’m so sorry. It seems so painful! This is my first pregnancy, where I’ve been this far along. When did you start developing pain and the SPD ?
@buneeh I've never had it with any pregnancy except this one and it slowly started around 25 weeks. I didn't know what it was.. I thought it would go away if I took it easy but it consistently gets worse! I don't think it's common with the first pregnancy so hopefully you'll be okay!
@squishysquashy, I hope for my sake. For you..I hope you hang in there. Looks like you’re just right around the corner with having baby. Although I read SPD can continue even after birth ?
Good to know it's not something that will linger and flare up for life!!
If you get epidural you wont hurt at all. And yes ive had spd 4 ti.es and it o ly comes earlier and wirse with each pregnancy. It takes 4 months after delivery for mine to completely go away
I had SPD to varying degrees with all my kids. With my 15 year old I was in a wheel chair by 32 weeks it was horrible!!!! Mine has never gone away immediately after delivery. It took probably around 6 months to be completely pain free.
@squishymommy1 Was every thing able to function normally when it came to spreading during delivery? Sorry, I'm not sure how to phrase that!
@squishysquashy, haha spreading 😆. Yes everything was fine! They all came out my vagina 😉
