Alright first time using a diva cup. I got my period today and I’m trying it out. So far it’s cool because I can’t feel a thing. Do u just empty it every few hours? Like how does that work?
It’s really a game changer. I totally suggest giving it a shot
@ltee, yes and I just bought all new tampons and totally forgot I bought this last time I had my period haha.
@ss3mom, bummer. I think it’s time I go ahead and get rid of all of my other stuff. It’s been taking up cabinet space but I haven’t used anything but a cup since I made the switch
@ltee, yes after I use the cup this cycle I’ll give my tampons to my sister or something.
I’ve been hearing a lot about these. After I have my baby I’m definitely going to try it out. Think of the money you’ll save LOL
Wait so I’ve only had it in like 30mins and when I went to the bathroom I had some leaking on my panty liner! Is that normal? It’s like a reg to heavy flow cause it’s usually very heavy but I just got my period today so it’s not that heavy yet ya know?
Sometimes in the beginning what appears to be leaking may have been stuff that was already on its way down when you put that in if you know what I mean. If it continues then maybe you need a better seal. The rotation once you put it in is pretty important. Like twirling in a dress
I have seen YouTube videos on them for athletes so I’m thinking with the right fit or the right cup it would be great
My first day on period is somewhat heavy so I empty every 4 hours or so. Once you use it long enough you will know what time is best for you. I LOVE mine!
It can hold up for 8 hours for moderate periods.
But I still empty it every 3-4.
I always emptied it before I let for places so I wouldn't have to mess with it in public
Yes empty it every few hours. But it can last up to 12. Was it hard to get it to suction? I hear that a problem. I want to get 1 when my period returns.
Following. I have super heavy periods and want to try one
They have some specifically for super heavy periods.
I’ve always wondered if I’d like these better than tampons or if it’d be a disaster LOL 😂 I hope it works out for you.
@love_linds
I actually never used a tampon , until after I used a cup. The biggest issue it getting in just right so it suctions correctly
Absolutely! Tampons would hurt me and changed tampons way too often. I don’t even realize my cup is in for 12 hours. They aren’t a disaster as most think. It does take some practice but I’ve never had a bad experience.
@massmomma16, @nerdymommyplus2, thanks for the info, girls. I’ve been a tampon user since almost the beginning, so it sounds like it’d be worth a try at least. The more ya know. 🤔

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
It’s really a game changer. I totally suggest giving it a shot
