I was thinking about that today as I took out a pack of chicken for dinner. Which means the giant 3 pack from Costco to feed all of us. And how I’ll only need 1 pack when they all leave. Strange to think about.

How do you manage to feed everyone? Is your grocery bill huge?

We do have a very big grocery bill. I’ve just learned to cook enough to feed everyone over the years. Trial and error and the vast quantities only really started since the older ones started becoming teens/preteens. This amount only makes 2 meals worth of sauce for us.

wow. Thankfully my kids are little right now but I'm sure I'll be having to make big meals when they're older. 😅

there won’t be any leftovers. We eat 2 lbs of pasta at a time. And that’s with me not eating pasta at all (I eat my sauce with spaghetti squash).
