I have a question for you mamas, Who has had the IUD and how was it for you guys? TMI but I’ve been with it for 5 months and I won’t stop bleeding and I never get yeast infections and ever since I got it I’ve had multiple yeast infections. I’m also gaining weight and I’m over it, I want to take it out 😪

Hated my mirena. It ended up moving to the bottom of my uterus and I got ovarian cysts (which is something my mother had, but I didn’t have previously to having the IUD). I had it taken out 13-14 months after I had it in.

I’ve only had the Mirena for 4 weeks but so far so good. I spotted for a week and haven’t had any other symptoms since. My cousin got it a couple days after me and she already got it removed. She was nonstop cramping and spotting. Turns out it had dislodged itself.

My sister had it. She hated it. Gained weight bled for forever and then when she finally stopped bleeding she had a crazy amount of discharge. She had to wear a pad or tampon at all times because of it. She got it taken out because she couldn't deal with it anymore.
