Earlier today I joined a group and was asked if I could prove I am who I say I am.
It was awful being questioned and treated like a liar.
Honestly, it took some joy out of a beautiful experience and it seems like this app is toxic and unsupportive because of all the fake profiles that ruined the community.

No one was trying to be rude. The group creator was messaged by multiple people that thought your account was questionable, she was just making sure. And now everyone knows that you’re real, and is open to getting to know you.

That’s not exactly true when there was a message that said I was taking too long and how you all knew I was getting my photo from the internet because you thought I was fake.
After I sent my first photo of all my test nobody believed me and accused me of buying them and lying about taking them.
Multiple messages of people saying they felt bad because of how they treated me.
Even after the adults in the group felt bad I never did get one sincere apology.
We can agree to disagree.

A lot of the people on this app are toxic but some of us are positive and try to show support rather than focusing on all of the negative stuff. I love your username btw lol

I’m genuinely sorry you felt attacked. I would probably feel the same way if our positions were reversed. I’ve had to prove my identity on other social media apps before, only I had to do it with an actual photo of myself holding up a piece of paper with my username on it 🤣 lmao only way it was believable enough apparently 🤷🏼♀️ But at the same time, you doing that put to rest any suspicions of you being a fake account. I appreciate that you did that! It definitely helps give others peace of mind. So sorry that you received negativity at all. It would be a shame to lose you over one bad interaction.
