Whats the big deal about 8 month old babys eating chicken nuggets? Cleo grabbed one of my sons chicken nuggets and started eating it literally taking bites out of it lol with no problem I googled it to see if it was okay and basically I seen a lot of people saying you're a bad mother if you let that happen?
Literally nothing wrong with chicken nuggets. Let’s all calm down. I’m not saying go to McDonald’s and get theirs a lot but there are healthier versions sold in stores. And yes an 8 month old can totally handle it. Baby led weaning focuses on giving table food in shapes and sizes that are easy for your child to grasp.
I'd look into baby led weaning! Table food is perfectly fine for baby after 6 months old (and other signs of readiness being met) so long as it's cut and served properly! (Just avoid honey until 1+years old)
Chicken nuggets are processed so they’re not the healthiest form of meat. An 8 month old isn’t usually ready for that level of food but it really varies baby to baby. My son was 11 months old before I gave him chicken nuggets for the first time, but he loves meat and was already eating firm textures. My daughter on the other hand didn’t have any type of meat until 14 months.
Yea definitely being 8m old not ready for stuff like that. I wouldn't say its being a bad mother? But I wouldn't allowed anymore after that first bite she took. Shes not ready for table foods that size it can cause serious chocking. But definitely not my child I dont raise or feed them so people can feed there child how ever they please
Fast food probably. Look into baby led weaning. So much better than jars of baby food 😂
Its just something else to mom shame about. I work full time and school full time with a toddler. I still get looks from everyone at mcdonalds or wherever when we go to grab something easy and cheap for dinner even though they are munchin down on like 3 burgers and a large fry. If 4$ means she will be full and happy with the toy on tough days then so be it. As long as you watch your kid and make sure hes not chocking or eating too fast then I dont see anything wrong with it.
