Let's say you rent a bounce house for your kids party.

Guests are having fun and suddenly one of the kids get hurt by other one while they are jumping. The mother of this child blames YOU. Because you didn't think that kids would hurt each other by jumping. What do you think?

This happened to me ( I was blamed by an EX FRIEND) I just found out a couple of days ago that she said that.

I mean anything can happen at any point..she could trip and fall walking. If she didn't feel it was safe she shouldn't of left her in. 🤷‍♀️

I am so sick of this kind of mentality. Our kids can get hurt doing just about anything. But injured and hurt are two different things. We as parents are the responsible parties when we allow our children to participate in activities where injuries can occur unless the injury is due to negligence or wrong doing on the other person's part. Not your fault in this case and even if it were she should have brought it to you directly, asap.

Kids get hurt sometimes. It’s doesn’t have to be anyone’s fault.

Well then her kid shouldn’t have been in the jumper? 🤷🏻‍♀️ did she think about that?

My son is 3. If I see that the kids are way older than him, I don’t let him jump. But if the kids are all around the same age, then I allow him too.

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
