Rant starting:
I don’t care how you discipline your child long as you discipline your child. You can’t just let your child do whatever. And if your way of discipline isn’t working get creative. In case nobody told you, your child is not suppose to disrespect and run you. You are the parent 🗣.
Oh and if your child is a little bully don’t ignore it.

I agree to a certain extent. It is definitely imperative to discipline children when necessary. However, excessive measures are never appropriate nor acceptable.

I agree completely, but I think people tend to blur the lines between discipline and abuse. If you are causing body injury to your child that’s not discipline that’s abuse. Some people hear discipline and think abuse while others abuse and call it discipline. Abuse is never okay.

@garay88, she didn’t hit you guys, but I’m sure she had some type of discipline in the house. Rather you guys were put on punishment or had to pick up extra chores. I’m sure she didn’t allow you guys to do whatever you wanted or disrespect her. Which is why you guys turned out good.

@garay88, communication is key. I do believe is has to be done right. I think some people talk at their kids and not to them.
