ok so i’m pretty sure it wasn’t urine but when sitting down i felt really wet and when i went to pee i noticed my underwear was wet like i had peed myself. then i wiped and there was a ton of clear discharge and there wasn’t any color of the liquid when i wiped. could i be leaking? i changed and sat down cause i have so much pain in my groin and 30 min later and nothing just a little wet spot. i’m cramping like i’m getting my period. i’m suppose to get induced tomorrow, i’m 39+4 today!

I would go in I felt a wet sensation but it wasnt even alot as if I peed so I didnt go in at first the next day I went in because my contractions were ranging between 5 and 7 minutes so they weren't consistent but it turned out my water was broke when they tested me so they admitted me and tried to induce. Turned out I was just having an issue where my body just didnt want to dialate. So I'd give just to be sure or at least call l and d and see what they say.
i’m definitely having real contractions since 9pm, they HURT but still are not consistent
@hollylaurel95 yeah mine never got consistent. My doctor blew me off and was like oh they Braxton hicks because I wasnt dilating but 2 days later found out something different at the hospital so I'd go in.
Maybe you lost your mucus plug. I think your water breaking is so much more fluid than what you’re explaining and losing your mucus plug is definitely a sign that labor is near! My mucus plug was like discharge as well and I was wet down there before my mucus plug came out. Had baby girl two days later!

I would totally go in. I just had my second a month ago and I started having period like cramps 10 minutes apart and then less then an hour later baby girl was really trying to come. My water broke in the car and was in the hospital less then 5 minutes before she came out and was in my arms. Cramps went from 10-9 minutes to all of a sudden constantly. I was 39+4 too! Good luck!
Sounds gross but when my water broke I felt like I peed. So I walked around in the bathroom with my legs open and sure enough I was dripping so we went in. Sounds like it broke! Good luck!
@erincharlieconor, i went to the bathroom again and now there was some yellowish greenish discharge. i’m assuming my mucus plug which i’ve been losing since week 37
@hollylaurel95, Does sound like mucus plug are you going to get checked out ?
I would get checked! I was told that you can start leaking and stop because babies head can kind of block where the leak is coming from. Good luck! 🤞🏻
I’d def get it checked because I had a very small leak and my midwife didn’t think anything of it so I waited over 12 hours before going in, not realizing I was putting my son and myself at risk for infection.
Are you getting contractions?
I would start timing if you are. Did the liquid have a smell? It’s usually odorless.
Also are you gbs positive?
no it’s negative! and yes they’re not consistent though

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Yes he is moving and active so I might be over reacting I just wiped and there was blood I wiped again nothing I was walking back to the couch and mucas like fluid came running down my leg it's warm but now my stomach is tight what I do
