Mine did at 39 weeks 4 days. I went into my appointment at 4cm and baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead so she was worried about her being to big and getting stuck. 5 hours of labor, and only a 6lb 14 oz baby! I see you’re already due so it doesn’t hurt to ask!
In my state there is a law that says you can go to the hospital and let them know that you want to be induced as long as you are 39 weeks+. That's what I did with my first I was 40w+4d, extremely miserable in pain, unable to get around without constant support and over it. He was born 12 hrs after being admitted into the hospital. They of course checked with my doctor to make sure he didn't oppose for any reason.
I have my 40 week appt today too. I wanna be induced also 😣🤦🏾♀️i feel like in New York they Wait to the VERYYYY last minute! Which im not thrilled about 😡

I went in for my 37 week appt. got sent home to pack and told to go to the hospital.
