Is it possible to bleed so much in pregnancy that you need a tampon?

When I was 8 weeks I was bleeding so bad a tampon wouldn’t have even helped. I went to the ER and everything was fine. Never had a problem after that. But I would still go to be safe honey

When I had a blighted ovum years ago, it sounded like what you are going through. I know it may not be what you want to hear or reality. But I'd prepare yourself for that! 💔😔

Not normal. But if you’re pregnant, do not use a tampon. It can cause an infection. Pads only

It filled up a tampon but it was all light blood with little dark red spots like clots

Unfortunately that isn’t normal. The er can’t do anything for you unless you’re bleeding a lot. And I mean a lot. Id keep your ob appointment tomorrow and tell them.

No that's not normal at all. Usually a sign of miscarriage.
