Why do people say no kids allowed at their wedding but has million kids?

I'm only having nieces and nephews along with my own daughter at my wedding this summer. We're paying $25 for macaroni and cheese 🙄. Not to mention I don't want my reception to look like a mini Kidz bop concert.
I don’t think I’d have kids at a reception. The ceremony would be ok.
My friend asks if I’m coming to her wedding and I said I don’t know because she was one of the people that was supposed to be in the bridal party and flaked on me so I ended up not having a bridal party at all
Weddings are expensive, $15+ per plate ads up. We didn’t allow kids at ours either.
@mrscarter2k16, I didn’t have kids at the time but if I did. My kids would have come but no other kids would have been allowed to.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

We said no kids at our wedding. The only kid there was the flower girl. We paid for everything ourselves and food was like $22/person so yeah, sorry kids.
