I’m pro vac I feel like they are given for a reason and I just remind myself that people died from these disease and I’m doing it to protect her even though shots stink
A friend of mine sent me some interesting info about vaccinating. So Of course my first thought was to come on here and see what other people think about vaccinating.
I know a lot of people look down on me and my kids and talk shit about us because we don’t vax but my grandmother and my mother both had very severe allergic reactions to their vaccines that when I was born my mothers dr told her not to give me any. He felt it would be life threatening. FF to when I got pregnant I was telling my MIL about my issues and she told me my husband was hospitalized after his 2 month shots, he had lost circulation in his body from his chest down and his heart almost stopped. He was not allowed to have any more after that. Soo I told my dr and he said nope you’re kids aren’t getting it. And I still take them to the same dr and it’s not been a problem. I do worry about it but I’ve made it this far and I’m ok.
I experienced something similar with two of my kids. They had allergic reaction’s we ended up in the emergency room for sever respiratory distress. I was scarred beyond words
I’m all for vaccinations but I think they should have tests done before they give the full vaccine because some kids have allergic reactions and that’s very scary! Yes they are good, but what good will they do if they are allergic. I just think more precautions need to be taken before giving the full vaccine to a child who has never been given one before. Other than that I’m for it.
I am for vaccinations because of what’s happening in our country with polio like diseases coming back, measles etc. but I make it a point to remind myself that it’s every parent’s decision. I have a friend on this app who chose to delay vaccines and totally respected why she chose to do that. I’m lucky enough to be a SAHM until my daughter starts school so she will be protected from such diseases. I understand that not all children respond well to vaccines and every situation is different. If we had a family history of bad reactions to vaccines, I would consider the alternative.

I am but not just because I don’t want to, it’s for medical reasons. I am 33 and was never vaccinated myself either
