ITS BACK THE THRUSH IS BACK! 🤬They told me it can sometimes take weeks to kick the infection because we keep passing it back and forth, and I have been using the cream and she has been using the oral meds for WEEKS and I finally felt better then tonight I woke up because my boob was hurting SO BAD I'm crying while she is nursing. F&€%!!!! F&€%!!!! F&€%!!!! This hurts so bad its like someone is stabbing me with glass shards!! F&€%!!!! This is seriously going to make me quit breastfeeding I can't handle this pain!!!!

You could pump for awhile and let the thrush run it’s cross and begin breast feeding again when you’re both healed.

^ you could try what she said, it might be worth it if you’re in that much pain :/ huge props for lasting this long & being so dedicated despite the thrush. i know it must be especially difficult with the pain. i hope you guys can kick the thrush soon.

There’s this stuff you can get from a store. It’s like violet gelatin or something like that. I see a lot of nursing moms use it because it apparently works better than the cream the dr prescribes you. I wonder if I can find it

This stuff. I’ve heard this works waaaay better than the prescribed stuff. The only downfall is it’ll turn your babes mouth purple while in use and your nips as well.
