it’s not any worse than getting a blood draw or a vaccination, but since you’re afraid of needles i don’t know how much that will comfort you haha. it’s pretty quick though!
I have very small veins and once was poked more than fifteen times while they tried to find my vein and maybe that is why I fear needles.
Almost always they will use the smallest needle they can find and hopefully it isn’t so bad.
I have did depo and that really wasn’t an issue and I have had my blood taken multiple times but the nurse who took my blood was very good and got my vein almost immediately.
i understand your fear! explain to your medical staff, im sure they get that a lot and there’s not much they can do, but hopefully theyll do their extra best to keep it quick and painless.
I hated getting the IV. My body always acts dehydrated even if I’ve drank plenty. So the drs always have a hard time finding a vein. The worst is that when they do find one it’s always in the worst spot. Last time I delivered it was on the side of my forearm.

Yes but there is a numbing thing they can put first

It’s more of a pinch, it’ll only hurt a few sec!

To me it does. Ask them to use a butterfly needle it hurts a lot less than the regular one
