Same here. I actually went to see a lactation consultant, super super helpful. She informed me pediatricians are only trained on formula feeding and know almost nothing about breastfeeding. So I am pumping after our feeds and supplementing with my own breast milk. That's our plan,then I see the lactation consultant again in a week. She hasn't lost weight, just slowly gaining. Pediatrician tried telling me to feed 10 mins a side and that's it because "there's no more milk" lol complete bs

@brittanystewart304 that's good! Yeah I let her nurse for as long as she wants and when I told that to the pediatrician I got looked at like I was fucking crazy lol it's so ridiculously. Thing is she may have a tongue tie, the lactation consultant said it's not quite a tongue tie but her frenulum is pretty noticeable and can be prohibiting her tongue from reaching the roof of the mouth so that's why I'm pumping after, but she weighed her after feeds and said she pretty much can get milk really well, she doesn't understand why she isn't gaining weight...so we will see what happens :/
