Anyone else have problems making your baby take naps during the day. He is 5 months and usually doesn’t even take one nap during the day. No matter how hard I try to get him to sleep. So even though babies his age are supposed to get around 15 or 16 hours of sleep he gets like 9 or 10.

My daughter is 3.5 now, has always been a horrible napper!!!! But has always slept really well at night. I thought her being my 3rd she’d sleep through anything......but nope

Where do you attempt naps? My daughter won’t nap in her room. She’ll only nap in the living room with the tv on in the background. She has fear of missing out I guess. So she naps either in my arms or in her pack and play and we don’t try to stay quiet for her.

I never thought about that. Yeah I try to make him sleep in his crib.

Definitely give other places a shot then! Can’t hurt! My son wouldn’t nap in his room either so we had him nap the same way our daughter does. What it really seemed to teach them is that once they’re placed in their crib it’s time to sleep alllll night long. They’ve always slept really good at night. Also with my kids, the better they nap during the day the better they sleep at night. Good luck!

My daughter is going on 7 months now & she occasionally takes a good nap where she sleeps a good two-three hours . But most times she takes 20 minute cat naps here & there whole eating or she will doze off jumping in her jumper thing .
