Venting time..
My brother has a son, (my nephew) and his mom took him away from us last year. Today’s his birthday and honestly, I miss him so much. His dad’s a piece of crap and his mom is a manipulative piece of crap as well. We have no idea when we’re gonna see him again, and I don’t really have anyone to talk to except my family but we’re all going through and feeling the same thing. I just can’t wait to get him back, however long that would be.
*she refuses to let us see him because she thinks we enable my brother with his stupid actions. And we really don’t, We actually cut off our brother BECAUSE of what he was doing and he acts like he’s still a child but obviously she doesn’t believe us*

I would buy him a card and send it. Or if you can’t send it. Put it in a box. He’ll come back to you eventually. And it will be a nice thing to give him later so he knows you’ve always loved him.

I would do it for every holiday! Think how lovely it would be to receive a box of cards from years of holidays that you had to miss from your aunt because your parents couldn’t get their shit together. It would definitely be a cherished thing.
