Just incase anyone doesn’t want to get close because rabies. These animals barely get rabies so many people misunderstand this. If the animal you hit still looks alive call wild life and if it’s during the day cover them up, pick them up and take them to the nearest vet.

I used to do volunteer work with animals I worked with owls bobcats squirrels you name it and we had one opossum that was there for life cause she was too little (like she just stopped growing it was crazy so they couldn’t release her back in the wild cause she wouldn’t survive so one of the woman kept her as a pet) she was literally the sweetest animal there

I wish more people in my area didn’t suck. They purposely hit wild animals. None of them care about them at all because “they ruin crops” 🙄
