Ok so I’m not trying to be rude when I ask this question but why do some pregnant woman spit? My God-sister is living with my parents and when I come visit all she is doing is spitting in a bottle like non-stop and it’s honestly disgusting the way she does it.... so please can someone explain this to me so that I’m not as grossed out by it.
I have mucus so I have to spit all day, I had it with my pregnancy with my son as well.. so I have to spit the mucus from my mouth all the time it’s gross but that’s what happens every time I’m pregnant ig🤷🏽♀️ I literally have to spit all day because of the mucus I hate it my throat is irritated but I have to spit it out don’t want to swollow it

@tamrasnider199, that was a bit rude it may not have been intended to be but it was. I’m sure she knows that there are ways to prevent pregnancy but birth control doesn’t work for everyone I was on birth control when I got pregnant with my daughter, and some people don’t like condoms ... I’m one of those people

@nelbi yeah it is an annoying thing to go through because I can relate but just ask her to carry a bag and put a couple napkins in the bag for when she does it.

@nelbi I’m not going to lie, sometimes I spit in bottles too when I’m done with it, and put it where my son can’t touch it, I get so miserable and tired of it where sometimes I just have to hurry up and spit it out, that’s why I really don’t want to get pregnant ever again this is the only thing that bothers me so much doing it alllllll day, the taste and having it in ur mouth and throat ugh it’s just a aggravating thing to go through.

@nelbi yeah definitely know i can’t help it, I had to quit my job because I was working in the kitchen for dietary and had to spit my mucus out too much and I know that had to be gross seeing me do that in a kitchen which is so I just stoped working, I constantly carry a bag with me I hate having to do it but I have no control, and my obgyn can’t really do anything about it. It bothers me so much and starting to bother my throat where I don’t even wanna be pregnant again after this baby.

@nelbi everyone is different not everyone will have the same problems but yeah the mucus will come out even while I’m eating or if I’m trying to sleep I have it VERY BAD when I’m pregnant all day🤦🏽♀️ doctors can’t do anything about it they know some ppl gets mucus while pregnant 🤷🏽♀️ they gave me this thing to put up my nose doesn’t help at allllll, but that’s all they can do for me while pregnant.

There can be several reasons. Pregnancy can cause extra saliva. She could have a metallic taste in her mouth. Or she could have morning sickness. I’m not sure about other reasons but I know of these three.

Extra saliva. My friend used to carry around a Pringles container and spit all day long.

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Can I have everyone’s opinions on me being 5cm dilated 50% effaced my cervix is high but the baby’s head is there and I wasn’t sent to labor and delivery. My mom is taking me cause she thinks it wasn’t right that my dr didn’t send me over to the hospital so she wants me looked at again. I THINK my dr stripped my membrane but I’m not sure(I say I’m not sure cause she says things and then I’m not sure what she meant she did or didn’t do and I don’t ask but she said “let’s see if we can change that for you” when I told her I’m just tired and in pain all the time)
