Would you still get child support if filed for abandonment?

Okay so I'm not sure on this... But I don't think you can. If you file for abandonment I think his rights are terminated and then you cannot collect support from him.

Yes, bc he’s still financially responsible for the child.

I think as long as he doesn't sign over his rights to the child you should still get child support
