It’s not as bad as you think, you’ll be just fine ☺️❤️ if you get an epidural youll definitely be good . You won’t even feel them checking you .

You could decline the checks. They’re unnecessary really until you’re in active labor. Childbirth is obviously painful but you can handle it and it’ll be so worth it. I had an epidural with my first and drug free with my second. Once those babies are out and in your arms nothing matters 😊

I went through this before with my son and is nervous all over again, so I understand but once they are in ur arms u really just feel relived. I’m the same way when it comes to pain that’s why I’m like this is definitely my last child after this baby lol 🤗

I was the same way with my checks every single one. Even when they were seeing how far dialated i was when I was admitted. I have terrible anxiety and get so sweaty and shaky before they even do it. But my delivery went by so fast I couldn't even think about the pain even though I know it hurt. You'll be alright❤❤

The cervical check that I had upon being admitted fucked me up mentally. THAT was the worst part of delivery. I didn't have an epidural & i would still take that over cervical checks. Your adrenaline really kicks in and shields the pain. You got this!

I’m not looking forward to that at all it is painful😩

@essence11robinson, I HATED those things too! They were worse in the office than the day I was in active labor. I guess I was so nervous/excited that it just didn’t bother me as much that day. I’m a wimp when it comes to pain too so I obviously got the epidural lol even though it wasn’t horrible pain I could still feel the pressure but honestly I was so focused on delivering her that it didn’t even really bother me. When that time comes your whole mindset kinda changes cause you’re not focused on the pain or being uncomfortable you’re only focused on your baby! You’ll do great and you’ll be so surprised with your own strength afterwards! Just keep remind yourself that you were made for this and it will be worth it when you’re finally holding your little one!
