All depends. It wouldn’t have fit my baby. With the tags on them stores are really good about just exchanging for a different size.

I can tell you Carters run large. The preemie size didn’t fit my small baby so it MIGHT fit your newborn depending on how big he comes out. But I would imagine even if it fits it won’t fit for long

My 5lb 11oz 40 weeker could have worn preemie clothes for the first couple weeks. Carters preemie lines fit up to 6 pounds.

Honestly it would just depend. They would have fit my 5 lb baby but he was too long for them. It’ll just depend on how big the kiddo is when they make their appearance!
