Hi moms, so I have a few questions about storing breast milk which may be stupid but I really want to make sure I do it correctly and sanitary. I’m going to a bridal shower this weekend only for a few hours and I know I may need to pump so I’m wondering how I should store the milk.
1) what’s the best container to use when storing the milk? I seen somewhere online that mason jars but not totally sure.
2) how long will the breast milk last at room temperature
3) is it safe to add freshly expressed breast milk to already stored milk? For example if I already have milk in the refrigerator is it okay to add more on top of that?
Okay thank you and as far as the bags you’re meaning like breast milk storage bags?
Breast milk storage bags
I believe 4hrs unless eaten from then 1hr
No, all milk that's mixed must be same temperature.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
