I had two at 8 weeks, one- 9 weeks, one - 12 weeks, and I’m getting one at 20 weeks and I believe 32 weeks but I had some issues in first trimester so that’s why I have had so many

A normal pregnancy have 3 the first one to know how many weeks you are the second one for the gender at about 20 weeks and the last one to see if baby is head down at 32... too many ultrasound is not too good

Depends on your doctor. A "normal" pregnancy typically will only have 1 or 2. If 1 just the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. If 2 the initial dating scan (done betweem 8-12 weeks) and the anatomy scan at 20. If you've had issues they will do more. If there are issues with the baby or you have something like placenta previa they will do more. There are some doctors offices that will offer them at almost every appointment.

with my son I had one at 9 weeks, 15 weeks, 21 weeks, 30 weeks and 35 weeks. some doctors do less ultrasounds, some do more, and it can depend on any risks your pregnancy may have.
