Mine was at the birthing center at my hospital. I wanted to go natural for as long as possible but wasn’t prepared. I made it pretty far. Never got an epidural but did have intrathecal which numbed me from the waste down. I tore and had an episiotomy so I was thankful for the drugs.
With my second I was more prepared. Did most of my laboring at home in the tub. Got to the hospital and my daughter was born an hour later. Didn’t tear or anything, no meds. Was amazing.
I would honestly be nervous to not have a doula or midwife by my side if I had a water birth at home. You never know what can or may go wrong and even though my second was “easy” there was meconium when my waters broke. Thankfully my daughter was fine, but I definitely would want to have access to modern medicine and medical advances even after having given birth to two children. Just me though

My first child I was 22 and literally just went with the flow .... Lol. And if you have one at home I'd say midwife. Not even sure what the difference is between a midwife and a doula

I will be twenty two when my peanut is here!
Husband was kinda thinking about asking my mother in law if she would be able to deliver our baby.
I dunno the difference either lol.

I was only 19 lol I had no clue what I was doing or what to expect 😂 my plan was to just go to the hospital when my water broke. But at my 39 week appointment they sent me to get induced that day lmao

I was 22 and that's the same mindset I had. Clueless as hell and I got induced at my last Dr visit too lol

it was more exciting lol I knew I was going to meet my nugget in a couple hours. You got this trust me but one thing that will always happen is you'll be nervous no matter what and no matter how many kids you have lol with my second I was nervous to give birth too.
