Earlier someone knocked on the door and we have ring so my husband pulls up video to see who was at the door...
It was my abusive mother who I decided to cut off and had to cut my family off as well.
I have not talked to any of my family in three years which hurts sometimes.
Husband brought down some stuff she left and that was brownies with two random pudding cups and jello cups... attached was a picture of me as a toddler.
Sometimes I think she thinks time will heal the wounds she has caused and other times I think she feels like the victim.
If you read this long rant, thank you.

I would definitely give her the opportunity to explain herself and see if she’s changed any at all. If you have children don’t let her around them. But that’s all up to you! When I read things about moms, I get in my feelings since I lost my mother at 5 and would do anything to have her back if I could. So girl, it’s all up to you!!

If she has a history of being abusive and manipulative then unfortunately this is probably another attempt at her trying to manipulate you or guilt you into letting her back into your life. I’m sorry she’s doing that to you. Sometimes we have to set firm boundaries for our own happiness and mental health.

I get it, I cut off my "mother" and her family due to being abused both mentally and physically.. She was toxic to numerous ppl. I was shocked I had the courage to cut her off and move on BUT I can't even tell you how much my mental health has flourished bc shes not in my life anymore. I imagine you feel the same 💜 good luck girl! Just bc they have the title of "mother" or "father" doesn't give them the right to be toxic to anyone, just remember that. Put your mental health and yourself first, always. ☀

I wouldn’t trust any food from someone I cut off for years. Who knows what lengths they’d go to for revenge? Poison? Not taking a chance. Into the trash it would go.

I highly doubt she would poison the food it was store bought.
She has been calling the police and trying to report me as a missing person, would be stupid for her to poison me.
