So for the past few days my daughter has refused to wear a dirty diaper. Even if she just pees a little bit she starts stripping layers until she gets it off. Today we got her one of those potty seats that sits on the toilet and a little stool to help her get up there and another pack of panties. Several times she’s peed in the potty today and even when she has an accident she knows where to go and she still tries to pee in the potty. I’m thinking she still hasn’t figured out that “que” yet of when she really needs to go. Either way I’m pretty sure it’s officially potty training time. Any suggestions or tips? I wanna make this as smooth as possible for the both of us. I know she’s not gonna be 100% potty trained on the first day and accidents are going to happen. I don’t want to set my expectations way too high and end up getting frustrated or anything. I want her to be excited to make this transition instead of feeling like she has no other choice. I know the basics of how the whole thing training process is supposed to go but I’m not sure on the whole nap/bed time thing. Or when we go somewhere since I don’t really have anywhere to put a potty chair in the car 😂 do I put a diaper on her before she goes to sleep and before we get in the car? Or do I just cover the car seat with a plastic bag and leave her in panties? I have so many questions 😂😂😂 *pics cause she was so happy to have new big girl panties and her own little potty set up that we spent about 20 mins just chilling in the bathroom 😂
