We’ve enrolled Isabelle in PreK for the fall, which means she has 3.5 months to get fully potty trained. 😩
I’m really doubting that it’s actually going to happen. She doesn’t understand how to just let it go, and I’m out of ideas on how to explain it to her. She just sits there and holds it until she can’t anymore usually. I don’t know what to do. Actually debating on seeing if there’s someone I can just hire to train her instead because I’m obviously not good at it. 🤣😭 We’ve been at this for almost a year and we’ve made no progress.
She knows when she needs to be changed, she knows when she needs to go to the bathroom, and she even acknowledges it. She just doesn’t care to, and she’ll tell you so. I asked her tonight “Why won’t you use the potty?” And she looked at me and said “I don’t care about it, mama. I just don’t care.” 🙄🙄
@scurlock.mommy have you tried a treat jar for her when she goes.
I knew someone who taught her son to blow bubbles with bubblegum while he was on the potty. Something about it taught him to relax and loosen up enough to go potty. She said he would hold it for so long that he’d actually end up constipated. I assume blowing regular bubbles without gum would have the same results since you’re using the same bubbles
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Are you sure she's even ready to be potty trained? Doesn't seem like she's ready. Where I live they have a pre school that takes kids who's not fully potty trained and helps train them during the day. My son has the peeing part down but not the pooping.
