As crazy as this may sound my 13 month old has still been taking naps in his rock n play...he will only take a nap if he is rocked to sleep but if you rock and try to lay him down he ALWAYS wakes up...now that the rock n plays have a recall do any of you mamas have any other ideas of rockers or sleepers that will hold a 20lbs baby?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Anyone have gateway insurance and have done this and received a car seat, stroller, or pack n play?? I was told for every OB visit you take it and get it signed and you mail it back after your 36 week visit and you can pick if you want a pack n play, stroller, or a car seat.
