What is involved in a health visit, I have one coming out (which is my first) to my home tomorrow. I know they ask you questions but what sort - are they all just health related or??

It’s just a chat, mine didn’t look around the house at all, just came in the lounge. Asked if breast or bottle feeding, gave info on SIDS, asked if we smoke or any family smoke, asked about mental health issues and just introduced themselves as they come after baby is born too. Gave loads of leaflets too xx

Just literally a friendly chat to introduce themselves to you and tell you what they do and what to expect, like the hearing test, heel prick test etc. They may go through bottle feeding procedure if that's what you've choose, when they come, any groups in the area, all that kinda stuff.

They come to see what baby's home environment is like, how you are in yourself etc
It's basically just a meet and greet so some random stranger doesn't just show up after birth lol

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep

All went well, got lots of handy information and advice, she answered lots of my questions, talked to me about how I was feeling and a little bit about my health, and went through babies red health book. For some reason I spring/deep cleaned the whole house yesterday and this morning (I mean I do it anyway - nesting and all that) but I didn't know if they were gonna look around the house - which they didn't 😅 thanks for your help girls!! Xx
