As you know I’m being induce again but this time I’m getting a pill inserted in my cervix never had it with my other inductions and I was wondering if any other moms has had it and what does it feel like
They did with me... lol. It didn’t hurt going in was just a bit uncomfortable but give me labour pains any day over them taking it back out🙈. But as soon as they did take it out my waters went and 4hrs later we welcomed my boy😍 x
I had the pessary in and they sent my oh home as they said it would take 24hrs to start working... it was only in for 3 hours and I had to have it taken out because I started having contractions, when they took it out my waters broke and I had my little boy 4hrs later💙 x
@angeliquemitchell.1992, my pill was attached to a string lol it wasn’t as if they had to dig deep to find a little pill lol just read some comments and they haven’t mentioned a string so I’m thinking it might be different where u live🙈x
They did that with me when I had my son. They gave me one pill and 30 minutes later I started having a lot of contractions and started dilating. I wasn't dilated much but I was pretty thinned out already.
@aylenrose, I was completely nervous because im terrified of getting cut but I’m getting my tubes tied right after I have my daughter so gotta face my fear eventually
Seems like they worked great for you moms I’m just nervous because I never had it before it was always pitocin so I’m praying my body adjust to eat I’m only 2cm and I’m not thinned out at all and she still very high up no we’re near the my cervix to come out
Had it with my last. They gave me one dose at 11pm and around 1am I really started contracting and dilating. I had my baby at 10:59am the next day. They were going to give me two doses but one worked. Good luck!
🙋🏼♀️ It worked great for me. I was already dilated tho and 60% thinned out. I went in at 5 that evening. Has cervidil inserted around 7ish. My water broke at 7 AM and by noon my daughter was born.
I had it with my first kiddo. Took 2 doses for it to start ripening the cervix. That induction from start to finish took 14 hours but it was uneventful until the last 5 hours when labor actually started. As soon as I got the epidural my body relaxed enough to dilate.
I had that with my daughter. Felt a little weird going in lol but my body didn’t really take to it so they eventually had to start some pitocin for me. And even that wasn’t working to great so I had a balloon and all with her cause I was not dilating at all but once that balloon popped out she was shortly behind.
@nelbi, yeah that part I’m not going to like at all I hate when I get a cervix check but hopefully my water breaks on it’s own from the pill and I won’t have to have it done because I hate that worst than the cervix check
