What you pump does not determine that amount you are producing. Baby can get more directly from your breast. Are you also formula feeding because that can make baby fuller which causes baby to skip a meal and tank your supply.

I know, but I’d like to be able to pump and save because I’ll have to go back to work after my 6 week check up. && no he’s strictly breastfed.

Have you talked with a lactation consultant? I didn’t start to pump until 6 weeks after. In the very beginning I only used the Haakaa.

I have. She told me to try pumping to see how much he takes from a bottle because he is still losing weight, and I’d also like to be able to pump and save so I don’t have to put him on formula when I go back to work.

I also just recently gave birth. Im trying to build my supply. My first pump was so sad 🤣 But at least it was better than nothing. Ive been drinking so much water, this upspring milk flow drink like twice daily, having lots of soup. Oatmeals all day 😭🤣 Just keep trying mamas. Offer your boobies, as well as pump.

@brittanystewart304, Girl i totally get it 😭 My little one is also the same. I think shes also cluster feeding. So no rest for this mama either 😭

I have the medela sonata.
With my daughter I never pumped or even had a pump so my mom decided to get me one this time around since I can’t stay home a year with him like I did with my daughter.

watching those videos might also help.Ive been watching those videos hoping to get some tips from them too!
