Regarding the eligibility for calfresh, cash-aid and Medi-cal insurance being an unmarried mother with the father still in the picture.

As long as you’re not married you’re still legally “single” according to the system, I believe. I haven’t been on cash aid for 7 years so they may have changed things, but I would think you’re considered single. I think they also make you sign up for child support against the biological father as well.
