Everyone’s on our ass about picking a name for this girl. I’ve started to tell people “we just aren’t naming her” and cutting off the conversation.
We have a name picked but haven’t forsure said that was the first name we’d use. But middle name is set in stone (it’s a family/ my middle name). Aspen Blake.
We aren’t keeping it a secret or anything, everyone’s just annoying about it so we don’t tell them. Or when we tell them the name, they make some dumb ass comment about not liking the name. Good thing it’s not your baby then 🤷🏻♀️

First off I love the name Aspen Blake!🖤🖤 we’ve had people say they didn’t like the name we picked and I finally just started saying “well too bad you aren’t the one naming her” people always seem to think they have an opinion about everything when you’re pregnant. 🙄

It’s y’all baby. Y’all can name her whatever y’all want. I hate when people give a negative opinion on a name, like it’s going to change someone’s mind. Everyone had something to say about Haisleighs name but we didn’t care. It has meaning to us and we loved it. That’s all that matters. I think Aspen Blake is beautiful by they way

This is why I wait to tell people our baby names at birth. They are always less inclined to say they hate the name if you’re already using it. For some reason people always think they can name your kids for you or change your mind 😐 I don’t get it. My mom hated my name choice for my first and so I never told her again until the birth of my other two.

My family is doing this too. They have been from the second that we found out it was a girl. They never stop and it's so annoying. My sister won't stop suggesting names (and won't stop pushing her name/middle name as the middle name for my daughter) no matter how much I tell her we have options and just haven't for sure picked yet. It's so damn annoying. We have a first name picked but it's not super set in stone until we find a middle name, but she just never drops it.

Omg yes. We refuse to tell names until after kiddo is born because it cuts out the question and the dumbass comments and "I don't like that" crap. People can be so rude.
I do adore that name though. We still don't have one for our kiddo! 😬

I don’t get it!! Maybe I think you gave your kids stupid names but I’d never tell someone that! I don’t think I’ll know forsure till I see her if that’s the name we will use. But we both love it so we probably will!

Thanks!! We wanted something kind of nature/ wilderness based but not something that came off very “hippy”. Nothing wrong with that, just not our thing haha. I love the name, I hate that people are being an ass about it 😒
